Description
Older Adults can share a meal with others at more than 40 locations across the City. We are seeking older adults to volunteer at 2 of our dining sites in the Chinatown Neighborhood. **Cantonese/Mandarin speakers highly preferred.
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Volunteers will conduct a variety of tasks including but not limited to setting tables, preparing and serving hot meals to meal site participants, cleaning up after meals, registering participants and engaging in conversation to create a welcoming environment for participants. In addition, Volunteers will be expected to adhere to all safety precautions with food handling. The volunteers will provide the service weekly or as otherwise scheduled.
