Description
Looking to gain more administrative office experience, or offer the administrative skills that you already have for a good cause?
Come make a difference and help to improve the lives of terminally ill hospice patients in the King County area by joining our Tukwila, WA based team!
Volunteers are an essential part of our dynamic interdisciplinary hospice team (of nurses, doctors, spiritual care providers, social workers and home health aides). Our Administrative Volunteers assist our Tukwila Office staff, clinical team and hospice patients and families by tending to ongoing administrative duties and projects.
We provide free extensive training and ongoing education for our volunteers. We value and nurture our volunteers as essential members of our interdisciplinary team. We seek a diverse volunteer team that reflects our multicultural community. Volunteer trainings occur in our office in the Tukwila area. Our patients and families are located throughout King County.
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age, pass a background check, interview, TB test, urine drug test, orientation training and orientation competency test.
