    We are seeking a Director of Technology (IT Operations) to ensure our systems, tools, and infrastructure are stable, scalable, and built to support growth.

    Because when technology works — everything moves.

    And when it doesn’t — nothing does.

    The Role

    The Director of Technology (IT Operations) leads the execution of all internal technology operations — ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and built to scale with the organization.

    This role translates technology vision into real, functioning systems that support every team.

    What You’ll Own

    IT Operations Strategy & Execution

      • Build and execute IT operations strategy
      • Establish standards, processes, and best practices
      • Align systems with organizational growth

    Infrastructure & Systems Management

      • Oversee core systems (Google Workspace, internal platforms)
      • Ensure systems are:
      • Stable
      • Secure
      • Scalable
      • Maintain uptime and performance

    IT Service Delivery & Support

      • Oversee IT support across the organization
      • Ensure fast, effective resolution of issues
      • Improve user experience with technology

    System Administration & Access Oversight

      • Oversee user accounts, permissions, and configurations
      • Ensure onboarding/offboarding access is handled correctly
      • Align access with security and compliance standards

    IT Team Leadership

      • Lead IT Operations team (Admins, Support, IT Ops Manager)
      • Define workflows, expectations, and accountability
      • Support recruitment and development of team members

    Process & Workflow Optimization

      • Build and improve IT processes:
      • Ticketing systems
      • Incident response
      • Maintenance workflows
      • Drive efficiency and scalability

    Cross-Functional Support

      • Partner with HR, Operations, and Engineering teams
      • Ensure technology supports all departments
      • Bridge technical and non-technical teams

    Security & Incident Management

      • Partner with Information Security leadership
      • Ensure systems meet security standards
      • Manage incidents, outages, and risks

    Who This Is For

      • Thinks in systems, infrastructure, and scale
      • Can move between strategy and execution
      • Understands that technology is a business enabler
      • Can lead teams and build processes from the ground up
      • Takes ownership of making things work — consistently

    Qualifications

    Required

      • 5+ years in IT operations, system administration, or infrastructure
      • Experience managing systems and supporting users
      • Strong understanding of:
      • IT infrastructure
      • System administration
      • IT support operations

    Preferred

      • Experience leading IT teams
      • Google Workspace administration experience
      • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks
      • Experience in remote or mission-driven environments

    Commitment

      • 12–20 hours per week
      • Flexible schedule
      • Fully remote
