Title: Volunteer Food Product Developer / Recipe Creator – Mission-Driven Brand

    Organization: LoopRoots Foundation

Location: Remote (with occasional local tasting/testing if needed)

    Type: Volunteer, 30 hours/week

    Description:

LoopRoots Foundation is launching a line of mission-driven food products designed to give back to our community. Every product sold supports families in need. We’re seeking a creative and dedicated volunteer Food Product Developer to help bring our vision to life.

This is a unique opportunity to craft recipes, design packaging, and help build a product line that is both delicious and impactful—while contributing directly to a nonprofit mission.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and refine recipes for flagship items: burgers, hot dogs, condiments, and more.
    • Conduct taste tests and adjust recipes for quality and scalability.
    • Collaborate on packaging design to clearly communicate the mission and impact.
    • Advise on food safety, storage, and shelf-life considerations.
    • Coordinate with local co-packers or commercial kitchens for small-batch production.

    Qualifications:

    • Culinary experience or food product development knowledge.
    • Familiarity with food safety and labeling standards.
    • Strong creativity and passion for mission-driven projects.
    • Ability to commit 30 hours per week to the role.

    Benefits:

    • Directly support families in need through a tangible mission-driven project.
    • Gain hands-on experience in recipe development, product design, and nonprofit food initiatives.
    • Be part of a pioneering project that combines food and social impact.

    How to Apply:

Send your resume, portfolio, or examples of past recipe/product development work to info@looproots.org with a brief note explaining why you’re excited to volunteer with LoopRoots Foundation.
