Licensed Cosmetologist or Massage Therapist Volunteer – AccentCare Hospice (In-Person)

AccentCare Hospice is seeking licensed cosmetologists and massage therapists who want to use their professional skills to bring comfort, dignity, and relaxation to patients in their final stage of life. Your touch, talent, and presence can make an extraordinary difference.

What You’ll Do:

• • Provide gentle, comfort-focused services such as haircuts, styling, basic grooming, or light massage
  • Offer soothing hand massage, scalp touch, lotion application, or relaxation techniques appropriate for hospice patients
  • Support patient dignity, confidence, and emotional well-being through compassionate care
  • Work alongside our interdisciplinary hospice team and receive full support and guidance

Ideal Volunteers:

• • Licensed cosmetologists, estheticians, or massage therapists with a calm, kind presence and the ability to adapt services to patient needs

  • Volunteers comfortable working in homes, facilities, or bedside settings

Requirements:

• • Active professional license in cosmetology or massage therapy
  • Background check, TB test, and volunteer training required
  • Reliable transportation for in-person visits
