Position Overview
LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a Youth Reentry and Prevention Program Coordinator to support the development and implementation of a youth-focused program serving youth with incarcerated parents, youth returning from juvenile detention, and youth at risk of justice system involvement. This role will contribute to building a structured program focused on prevention, stability, and long-term success, while aligning with LoopRoots’ broader support ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development
Assist in designing and implementing the LoopYouth program structure
Support creation of SOPs, onboarding materials, and youth engagement workflows
Contribute to curriculum development including life skills, financial literacy, emotional wellness, and violence prevention
Youth Engagement and Support
Assist with outreach to youth and families
Support intake and onboarding of program participants
Maintain communication and follow-ups with participants
Help ensure a safe and supportive virtual environment
Partnerships and Community Outreach
Support outreach to schools, juvenile programs, community organizations, and local partners
Assist in identifying mentorship and program collaboration opportunities
Program Operations
Track participant engagement and progress
Assist with reporting and program metrics
Collaborate with internal teams supporting housing, workforce, transportation, and wellness initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Background or coursework in social work, criminal justice, psychology, education, or related field
Experience working with youth, at-risk populations, or justice-involved individuals preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Passion for community impact and youth development
