Description
Join Hearts for Elders Illinois and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults in your community. Volunteers work directly with senior living communities and assisted living facilities to help reduce social isolation, foster connection, and create positive experiences for residents.
Responsibilities
- Participate in visits, events, and activities at senior living communities
- Engage with older adults through conversation, games, crafts, and social programming
- Assist with planning and facilitating chapter service projects
- Support event setup, coordination, and outreach efforts
- Collaborate with fellow volunteers and chapter leadership to expand community impact
