    Description

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is a 132-year-old settlement house widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers. Founded in 1894 as a free kindergarten for immigrant children, the Neighborhood House now serves 16,000 in need each year through a wide variety of effective and integrated services--social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness.

Our Older Adult Center at Saint Peter's Church is a hub for community activity providing those 60 years of age and older a welcoming environment to take classes, socialize, have meals and receive vital social services. We are seeking a volunteer to teach a weekly Intermediate Level French class, Mondays, 10:30am-12:00pm at 619 Lexington Avenue (East 54 Street).
