Volunteer at Visionaries of the Year Grand Finale!

We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our Visionaries of the Year Grand Finale, an inspiring evening celebrating philanthropic leaders from across our community.

Visionaries candidates spend 10 weeks building teams and engaging their networks to raise funds for Blood Cancer United’s mission pillars: Research, Advocacy, and Patient Support & Education. The Grand Finale is a celebratory gala recognizing their incredible impact.

Event Details:

📅 Date: May 30th, 2026

📍 Location: Union Station, 225 S Canal St, Chicago, IL 60606

Gala: 4:45 PM – 11:00 PM

Set-Up Shift: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Volunteer Roles:

Set-Up Volunteers (1:00 – 3:30 PM)

Assist with light set-up tasks including décor, signage, photo activations, and event preparation.

Greeters & Check-In Volunteers:

Welcome guests, assist with check-in, take arrival photos, and help answer guest questions.

Guest Services Volunteers:

Staff the Guest Services table and assist guests with questions or needs during the event.

Activation Volunteers:

Help manage fun photo booths and interactive areas while encouraging guest participation.

Additional Details

• Training: A short volunteer orientation will be held a week or so before the event (recorded if you cannot attend).
• Dress Code: Formal attire for evening volunteers. No dress code for set-up shift.
• Dinner: Dinner will be provided.
• Most roles require volunteers to stand and move throughout the event.
