    Description

Teach English at SEGA Girls' School!

Make a Difference: Teach English and Explore Tanzania

Help SEGA Girls’ School students gain confidence and fluency in English through fun, interactive learning!

We are recruiting 20+ volunteers to join our English Fluency Program in 2026! This is your chance to support SEGA students as they gain confidence and fluency in English, all while being part of an exciting and immersive experience at SEGA Girls’ School. If you are adaptable, curious, and ready to embrace a fun, hands-on teaching adventure, we want you on our team!

Volunteers will work with Pre-Form 1 students, guiding them through interactive lessons, games, arts and crafts, reading sessions, and fun activities that make learning English engaging and enjoyable. Students arrive at SEGA with limited exposure to English, and your guidance will help them build communication skills, confidence, and a love for learning.

No prior teaching experience is required—full training and a detailed curriculum are provided. You’ll work alongside a supportive team of volunteers and SEGA staff, making a meaningful impact every day. Beyond the classroom, enjoy cultural exchange, school events, excursions around Morogoro, and even a weekend safari, all while connecting with students and exploring the rich culture and natural beauty of Tanzania.

    What’s provided:

    • Arranged accommodations at SEGA Visitor House and hotels in Dar es Salaam
    • Arranged ground transportation, including airport transfers
    • 3 meals a day
    • 2-day safari at Mikumi National Park
    • Program materials and curriculum
    • Support with training, planning, and teaching
    • An unforgettable experience with eager-to-learn students and fellow volunteers!

    What you’ll need to cover:

    • Flights to Tanzania
    • Tanzanian Tourist Visa (US$100)
    • Personal medical and insurance costs
