    Description

Join our team. Our volunteers include both adults and youth (16 and up). We help an average of 3,400 injured and orphaned birds as well small mammals each year. We do have shifts and a 4 hours per week for a minimum of 4 months commitment requirement.

Volunteers with our organization will gain first-hand knowledge of environmental impacts on wildlife and what can be done to help conserve our wild neighbors and their habitat for generations to come.

While working with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah (WRCNU) volunteers also gain skills in animal husbandry, wildlife identification, diagnostics, restraint, record keeping, and much more!

Although we work with "cute animals" this work is not "cute and cuddly"--the goal for all animals is to release them back into the wild and so they must stay as WILD as possible. It can be very hard work. but for those individuals who truly understand the part they play in this larger role it is also one of the most rewarding things you can experience.

Come join our team! Please visit our website at https://wrcnu.org/volunteer for further information.
