    Description

Are you looking to gain real-world experience and grow your skills in Micro-finance in Ghana’s bank? Join SMWEF Ghana’s Micro-finance and kick start your career in a purpose driven organization in Ghana.

Our Micro-finance internship program in Ghana is structured, short term work experience designed for students, recent graduates, and entry-levels and professionals to gain hands-on training. This program fosters sustainable development, helping locals escape poverty while you gain hands-on experience in finance and entrepreneurship.

Micro-finance has opened doors for low-income individuals, who are typically excluded from traditional banking system, enabling them access to micro-loans for developing micro-enterprises and building savings.

This program aims to empower low-income individuals by providing them with micro-loans and the necessary skills to grow their businesses, create employment opportunities, and break the cycle of poverty and hunger.

Join SMWEF Ghana Micro-finance program in Ghana and work with local banks and Micro- finance entities. We offer extensive hands-on experience in a dynamic banking environment allowing interns and volunteers to gain practical work experience.

On this program, interns will have opportunity to learn how and assist in a diverse range of tasks such as how banks operate locally, reviewing business plans, formulating marketing strategies, managing small loan accounts, and verifying the eligibility of individuals applying for micro loans while also investing group funds profitably. The majority of individuals you will work together with are hard-working but financially disadvantaged families, particularly women, who have already embarked on small business ventures but required general business guidance and financial backing to expand their enterprise.

SMWEF Ghana internship and volunteer program is available throughout the year with flexible start dates and duration. Placements are available in both rural and semi-rural communities.
