    What Pet Peace of Mind Volunteers Do

    Volunteers assist with various aspects of pet care for patients who are struggling to provide it themselves:

    • Daily Care:Walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, and feeding pets.
    • Transportation:Driving pets to veterinary appointments, groomers, or boarding facilities.
    • Fostering:Providing temporary foster care for a patient's pet if needed.
    • Administrative Tasks:Helping with food delivery and coordinating care.
    • Patient Support:Visiting with patients at a facility to provide companionship for both the patient and their pet.
