You don't have to be a professional artist, but you should have some experience in art.

Description

We will be using acrylics to paint different pieces. We will provide all art materials, including paint and paper, refreshments, and snacks. This event is an opportunity for volunteers who enjoy art and/or have strong artistic abilities to have fun painting in the park. Once the event is over, all volunteers should donate their art to us to be posted and sold on our website. Teenagers (13-18) and adults may come, as long as you are ready to make a great art piece! Have fun painting next to the river while enjoying snacks and refreshments. We will be set up at the Red Shade Plaza.

Directions

Enter Riverside Park at either the 59th or 66th Street entrance. If you entered through the 59th Street entrance, walk north along the river until you've reached the plaza. If you entered through the 66th Street entrance, go downstairs until you're next to the river and walk south until you've reached the plaza. The plaza is west of 64th Street.
