Osinachi (oh-SIN-ah-chee), which means “Gift of God,” is a nonprofit organization working to improve literacy, increase reading, and help create lifelong readers—beginning with children.

Learn how a manuscript becomes a polished audiobook through careful listening, correction, revision, and final quality control.

This is an unpaid developmental apprenticeship, not a clerical-assistant position. You will work on real projects while receiving hands-on, on-the-job training.

What You May Work On

• Quality-control approved audiobook and audio projects by listening against manuscripts or scripts.
• Identify missing words, repeats, mispronunciations, pacing issues, pauses, and voice inconsistencies.
• Create clear, time-coded correction logs for narrators, editors, and project leadership.
• Organize revised audio files, track versions, and perform final listening passes before publication.

As your skills grow, your responsibility will grow.

You will also receive practical exposure to AI-assisted business tools for research, organization, quality control, project management, and productivity, while learning when human judgment and review are essential.

Our goal is that after six successful months, you are more employable than when you arrived and can point to meaningful professional accomplishments on your résumé.

Who Should Apply

A strong fit may be a communications, media, audio, broadcasting, publishing, music-production, or English student—or anyone with excellent listening skills, patience, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Applicants should be dependable, teachable, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and willing to receive constructive feedback. You are not expected to know everything already—the purpose is to learn through meaningful work.

Supervision & Development

Interns receive orientation, defined assignments, regular supervision, feedback, and periodic check-ins. As skills grow, responsibility can grow. Academic-credit requirements can be coordinated with eligible schools when available.
