    Description

Binaytara is looking for a tech-savvy, reliable, and calm-under-pressure individual to serve as our Lead Video Technician for upcoming National Summit on Cancer Health Disparities at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. We are dedicated to minimizing cancer health disparities, and this event is a crucial way for us to share our message with the community.

The Role: We have already invested in a professional-grade multi-camera setup (OBSBOT Tail 2 system, Aputure lighting, and professional audio integration). We don’t need you to bring your own gear—we need your technical expertise to ensure our production runs smoothly. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and teardown of our video/audio production suite.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Setup & Strike: Assemble and secure tripods, cameras, lighting, and audio connections according to our pre-flight checklist.
      • Operation: Monitor live video feeds and audio levels during the event to ensure high-quality recording.
      • Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues (audio signal flow, tracking adjustments, cable management).
      • Collaboration: Coordinate with the venue and on-site staff to interface our audio gear with their house sound system.

    What We’re Looking For:

      • Experience: Proficiency in setting up and operating AV equipment (cameras, microphones, mixers, and cables).
      • Reliability: Ability to follow a technical checklist and work independently.
      • Problem Solver: A calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting. If something goes wrong, you don’t panic—you work the plan.
      • Mission-Aligned: An interest in supporting our non-profit’s mission.

Why Join Us? This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a professional multi-camera broadcast workflow in a real-world environment. You will be the "Director" of our event production, ensuring our message is captured clearly for our remote audience and archival needs.
