    About IUPS:

    Founded in 1988, the International University of Professional Studies (IUPS) is a pioneer in mentor-based, holistic online graduate education. Our programs integrate mind, body, and spirit across fields like Consciousness Studies, Counseling Psychology, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Professional Coaching. We are a small nonprofit university with a long history of empowering students to serve humanity with awareness and compassion.

    We want to preserve our mission for many years to come but are unfortunately facing significant financial challenges. We would greatly appreciate the assistance from interested volunteers!

    The Opportunity

    We’re seeking a volunteer WIX Website & Branding Specialist who can help elevate our website and make our mission and offerings shine. We would greatly value your assistance with presenting IUPS more clearly and beautifully to the world :)

    Responsibilities

    • Refresh and update the IUPS website (built on WIX) for clarity, design consistency, and usability
    • Review and strengthen site branding — colors, typography, layout, and messaging alignment
    • Improve navigation and overall user experience
    • Optimize website SEO (keywords, metadata, headings, alt text, and mobile responsiveness)
    • Integrate calls-to-action for donations, applications, and newsletter sign-ups
    • Provide basic guidance or documentation for ongoing maintenance

    Qualifications

    • Experience with WIX website design and editing
    • Understanding of SEO best practices and digital branding
    • Eye for clean, accessible, and professional design
    • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
    • A passion for education, personal development, or mission-driven work
