    Description

Join a community of over 330 volunteers helping thousands of low-income, working families access free tax prep services and important tax credits at tax sites throughout the Portland Metro area each year.

During tax season, MFS CASH Oregon receives more than 10,000 calls from people looking to make, change, or cancel tax appointments. For those who can't schedule online, phone support is essential to accessing our services.

That's where you come in! Client Scheduling Volunteers help return missed calls, schedule appointments, and connect taxpayers with services at one of CASH Oregon's 18 tax sites.

This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others without needing to study tax law or prepare tax returns.

Time commitment: 4 hours per week, mid-January through mid-April.

Location: In person at our NE Portland headquarters.
