Description
The Center for Mindful Living DC. is seeking some in the volunteer role of Treasurer. This is a meaningful opportunity to support the life of our mindfulness community through thoughtful stewardship and care.
The role includes:
- Preparing a draft budget for the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) and sharing it with the Working Group
- Reviewing quarterly and year-end financial reports from IMCW and offering clear summaries of how we are doing in relation to the budget
- Noticing and communicating any potential financial concerns or trends
- Staying in collaborative communication with IMCW’s accountant
- Offering occasional support to the Community Manager on financial matters
- Bringing a financial perspective to Working Group conversations when helpful
The time commitment is approximately 8–10 hours per month.
