Description
We seek a volunteer Board Chair with a strong finance, accounting, or financial management background to help guide our growing organization. Working with fellow directors and executive leadership, the Chair will support effective governance, financial oversight, strategic planning, and fundraising.
This is a governance role. Day-to-day operations and bookkeeping remain separate responsibilities.

This is an unpaid volunteer position involving monthly board meetings, preparation, and periodic collaboration with leadership. Additional time may be needed during planning and fundraising periods. Meeting arrangements and availability will be discussed with candidates.
Appointment is subject to the board’s approval and SPORTHORSE’s governing documents. The formal officer title and responsibilities will be confirmed during the selection process.
