    Location: Remote, Online

Commitment: 5 Months with Possibility of Extension

    Compensation: Unpaid

    About BOUND FOR CHANGE:

BOUND FOR CHANGE was founded by individuals deeply rooted in the countries we serve, giving us a unique understanding of local realities and needs. We work in Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, partnering with communities to drive sustainable change and amplify local voices.

    Role Overview:

We are excited to announce that the cost of the container shipment from Port A in France to Port B in East Africa, totaling over 14,000 euros, has already been fully secured through the support of our partners. We are now seeking a strategic and motivated remote volunteer to help raise the remaining 13,000 euros needed to cover customs clearance, warehousing, insurance, and other critical charges, ensuring the container reaches children and youth in East Africa.

The volunteer must commit to completing this task, as the fundraising campaign concludes at the end of August, with the container scheduled for shipment in October. This role offers the freedom to design and implement innovative fundraising strategies, including social media campaigns, online outreach, and other creative approaches. Guidance from the team will be provided, but initiative, creativity, and independent action are essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead efforts to raise the 13,000-euro target to complete the shipment
    • Develop strategic and creative approaches to engage donors and mobilize resources
    • Track fundraising progress and ensure the goal is achieved by the end of August
    • Collaborate with the team while independently managing assigned responsibilities

    Candidate Profile:

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
    • Strategic thinker with creative fundraising skills
    • Comfortable leading initiatives independently while following guidance from the team
    • Experience in nonprofit fundraising or community development is preferred but not required

    Openness to Newcomers:

Applicants without prior experience are welcome. We encourage volunteers to bring fresh ideas, take on challenges, and build skills while contributing to a cause that changes lives.

    Professional Development and Benefits:

    • Hands-on experience in fundraising, resource mobilization, and campaign management
    • Opportunity to lead a high-impact initiative delivering educational materials to children and youth
    • Collaboration with a dynamic international NGO team
    • Certificate of recognition upon successful completion of the fundraising campaign
    • Possibility of continued involvement with BOUND FOR CHANGE as a team member depending on performance

    Why Join Us:

This is a rare opportunity to make a tangible difference in East Africa, help deliver vital educational resources to children and youth, and develop professional skills while engaging with a passionate and dynamic team. Your creativity and effort will directly contribute to changing lives.
