What This Position Is For
Bedrock Health Group is seeking an Operations Coordinator (Volunteer) to support the day-to-day internal operations of the organization. Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator will support the daily internal operations of Bedrock Health Group by helping maintain organized workflows, administrative processes, internal documentation, and operational systems. This role is focused on keeping things running efficiently across internal teams, supporting coordination between departments, and helping ensure that day-to-day organizational needs are met in a timely and organized manner.
This role is centered on internal operations and does not involve direct client, patient, or provider-facing responsibilities, nor access to protected or personally identifiable information.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to build experience in operations, administrative coordination, nonprofit management, or healthcare organizational infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day internal operations across Bedrock's teams and initiatives
- Help maintain and organize internal workflows, processes, and administrative systems
- Assist with tracking operational tasks, action items, and follow-ups across departments
- Support the development and documentation of internal operating procedures and process guides
- Help coordinate scheduling, internal communications, and team logistics as needed
- Assist with organizing and maintaining internal files, records, and operational documentation
- Help identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support the preparation of operational updates, summaries, and status reports for leadership
- Contribute to special projects tied to Bedrock's organizational development and long-term strategy

Qualifications
Required
- Prior experience supporting operations, administration, or coordination in a professional, academic, or volunteer setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks, workflows, and documentation
- Strong written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow through on action items
- Ability to work independently, follow direction, and manage multiple priorities
- Interest in operations, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, or organizational development
Preferred
- Current graduate student, recent graduate, or working professional with relevant experience
- Coursework or background in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, public administration, organizational development, or related fields
- Familiarity with project management or operations tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Notion, Google Workspace, or similar)
- Experience with process documentation, workflow design, or administrative systems
- Interest in healthcare operations, nonprofit development, or mission-driven organizational growth
Time Commitment
- Flexible volunteer schedule with a minimum of 3–5 hours per week based on organizational needs and candidate availability
