The Role
Are you a aspiring journalist, writer, or storyteller who wants to use your pen to make a difference? We are seeking passionate Volunteer Journalists to pitch, research, and write impactful stories that shed light on critical issues, human rights, and community challenges.
This is a 100% remote, low-friction opportunity designed to fit around your schedule. You will have the opportunity to build your profile, your bylines, and complete editorial control. We are firm believers that you own your successes.
What You’ll Do
- Write & Report: Draft 2–3 well-researched articles, profile pieces, or investigative posts per month on topics that advocate for vulnerable or underrepresented groups.
- Pitch Ideas: Bring your own story concepts and perspectives to editorial pitch meetings.
- Conduct Interviews: Connect with community members, advocates, and experts to tell authentic, human-centered stories.
