Join Leah’s Pantry in supporting food access for residents at Ivy at College Park, a BRIDGE Housing community in Chino. We’re looking for volunteers to assist with our monthly food distributions. You’re welcome to join us for just one distribution or become a regular part of the team each month!
When & Where:
📅 First Saturday of every month
🕗 8:00 AM
📍 Meet in front of the leasing office (5906 Notre Dame Ave, Chino, CA)
Volunteer Duties:
- Lift, carry, and deliver bags of groceries (fresh and shelf-stable)
- Distribute food directly to residents at their doors (residents must be home to receive groceries)
- Help transport food across a large complex using wagons or dollies (bringing your own is a plus!)
- Work as a team to ensure about 100 households receive food
What to Expect:
- About 2 hours of volunteering (less with more hands on deck!)
- Some walking and stairs — the complex has three floors
- A chance to make a direct impact on neighbors’ food access
- Comfortable clothes and walking shoes recommended
This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, or groups looking to give back and support their community in a hands-on way.
