Founded in 2023 and registered as a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Victory Afghanistan now supports more than 1200 students and is powered by over 150 volunteers across 24 countries. All programmes are delivered online and completely free of charge. Our mentorship programme supports students who have already completed our English programme and are preparing for the next stage of their journey. Currently 117 mentorship students are working toward opportunities including:
COMMITMENT
Dates: 2nd week of July to 2nd week of December
Location: Remote
Time commitment: 2 hours per week for 16 weeks
Mentors and students schedule sessions at mutually convenient times.
ROLE
Formal mentoring experience is not required, and we welcome applications from both male and female mentors. We are seeking professionals who are emotionally intelligent, passionate about helping others grow, and interested in supporting Afghan women during a humanitarian crisis. Mentors follow an outlined programme framework and are supported by the Mentorship Programme leadership team throughout the semester. Your role is not to lecture or teach, but to help students think clearly about their goals and the practical steps needed to move forward. Sessions are conversational, supportive, and focused on helping students develop clarity, judgement, and direction.
Applicants should have either: a Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of professional experience Each mentor is typically paired with 5 students aged 18 to 26, all fluent in English.

Students are fluent in English and highly motivated. Many already hold university degrees but have been prevented from working because they are women.
