We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to develop and manage our organization’s social media pages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital communications, storytelling, and using social media to engage audiences and advance our mission.
You will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media platforms, growing our online community, and monitoring performance to ensure our digital communications effectively reach and engage target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and mission.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and TikTok.
- Write compelling captions, posts, and other digital content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Create or coordinate the production of graphics, videos, reels, and other visual content.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful engagement with our online community.
- Collaborate with staff and partners to identify stories, campaigns, events, and other content opportunities.
- Ensure that all social media content reflects the organization’s brand, values, voice, and mission.
- Support digital campaigns, fundraising initiatives, advocacy efforts, and organizational events through social media
Qualifications:
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing social media strategies.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and digital communications.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to creating positive social impact.
