Well Read Sistas Inc. is expanding our 2025 programming, and we’re calling in talented, mission-aligned volunteer staff to help us elevate the sisterhood. These volunteer roles are high-impact, experience-driven, and perfect for professionals who want to serve, give back, and sharpen their craft while pouring into a community of Black women and girls.
If you are skilled, passionate, reliable, and excited to support a growing national literary movement—we want you.
✨ Chefs for Sis, Is a Chef Series
We’re spotlighting Black culinary artists who want to teach Sistas how to create one signature dish while sharing the story behind their craft. Volunteers should be confident on camera, engaging, and passionate about food as culture and community.

- Mission-aligned Black women and allies who believe in literacy, community, wellness, and joy
- Experienced professionals willing to lend their skills in-kind
- Warm, reliable, communicative team players
