The Washington Bach Consort employs a professional chorus and orchestra noted for its historically-informed performances of 18th-century music on period instruments.
Volunteers are needed for a concert on March 22, 2026, from 2:00 to 7:00pm.
Volunteers assist with church set up, program distribution, scan tickets, and usher patrons to their seats, and pick up discarded programs at the end of the concert.

Please be in dark, professional attire and wear comfortable shoes.

Take the red line to the Tenleytown stop. From the Metro stop, walk south on Wisconsin Avenue and then turn right onto Nebraska Avenue NW at the Tenley Circle. The church is two short blocks from the circle, at the corner of Nebraska and Van Ness.
The church has a large parking lot behind the main church building that is free of charge, Entrances are located at Van Ness Street and Nebraska Avenue NW.
Dress Code: We ask our volunteers to wear all black or black/white professional attire. If you cannot follow the color guidelines, we would ask that you dress in dark color, professional attire. (dark suit/white shirt, or dark outfit for ladies). DO wear comfortable shoes. We do a lot of standing and/or walking prior to the concert as well as during intermission.
An appreciation for Baroque music, or classical music in general would enrich your volunteering experience.
