    We are always looking for enthusiastic and dedicated friends to join our volunteer team! Connect your skills and passion for history, education, farm life, nature or the outdoors to a rewarding role at the museum. We can’t wait to meet you! We have seasonal opportunities and ongoing.     All volunteers (18 years and older) must complete a volunteer application and background check before working at the museum.

    Volunteers 12-16 years old must have an adult assist them at the same area.

    Anyone under 12 years old is unable to volunteer.

    2 shifts available:

    • Visitor Center Hosts, Farmstead Guides & House Docents work 10 am - 12 pm or 12 pm-2 pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.: 10:00 to 12:00 CST
    • Visitor Center Hosts and Grounds Guides work 12-2 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays.: 12:00 to 14:00 CST
