    Description

    ACH is runs a yearly summer program called, CareerLAB is a free 12-week fellowship virtual program specifically designed for Asian high school students, college students, and early career professionals. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional excellence by providing real-world work experience and essential development skills. We aren’t just a course; it's a simulated corporate environment where fellows will own their growth. Over 12 weeks, fellows will:

    • Take Ownership: Manage actual projects from conception to launch.
    • Build Infrastructure: Learn to navigate corporate politics, set boundaries, and master professional communication.
    • Bridge the Gap: Tackle the "Bamboo Ceiling" by developing authentic leadership styles.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Program Strategy and Design: Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of all programs, including workshop and mentor recruiting, program planning and strategy.
    • Ecosystem Integration: Collaborate with the Founder and ED to embed programs within the border ACH Ecosystem Map and User Journey
    • Operational: Oversee the development of curriculum content, tools, and resources while facilitating regular team planning sessions and cross-program collaboration. Act as the liaison and point of contact for mentor and workshop speakers for content review and approval + planning process.
    • Impact Tracking: Monitor and manage program metrics and participant feedback to ensure high-quality outcomes and alignment with ACH values.
    • Leadership: Provide thoughtful, strategic leadership to a team, fostering an environment rooted in care, clarity and connection.
      • Lead team meetings
      • Manage and connect with team members (direct reports) for 1:1s
      • Work closely on goal setting and provide mentorship and guidance
      • Collaborate and provide support on projects

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in program management, education, career development, or mentorship.
    • Leadership: Proven track record in team management and leading complex operations.
    • Mission Alignment: A deep belief in healing as a pathway to empowerment and a commitment to serving the Asian neurodivergent community.
    • Skillset: Strong program design skills with the ability to build systems that support driven career accessibility.
    • Mindset: A relationship builder who thrives in a collaborative, movement-building environment

    Expectations

    • This is a volunteer role; we’re asking for 3-5 hours/week max to contribute no volunteer should be exceeding these hours without communication to their manager
    • Must attend meetings for team meetings and 1:1s
    • Communication is key and participation is required to commit to the project
