Are you comfortable starting conversations, building relationships, and asking people to support a meaningful cause?
The Gracefull Table Community Kitchen is seeking a Volunteer Food & Supply Donation Coordinator to help connect our mission with local businesses willing to contribute ingredients, supplies, and other essentials for our community meals.
We provide free, freshly prepared meals and restaurant-style hospitality to people experiencing food insecurity and neighbors in need. Our first-Sunday community meal events take place in Garland, Texas.
Every donated ingredient or needed supply helps us put more care into the meals and experiences we provide.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with our leadership to identify specific food and supply needs for upcoming events.
• Contact grocery stores, food suppliers, restaurants, and other local businesses about potential donations.
• Develop relationships with businesses interested in occasional or recurring support.
• Coordinate donation details, quantities, deadlines, and delivery or collection arrangements with our team.
• Maintain a simple record of outreach, commitments, and follow-up needs.
• Help ensure donors receive timely thanks and acknowledgment.
You’ll coordinate requests with us in advance so donations match our menus, storage capacity, and event needs. Any food donations must meet our receiving and food-safety requirements.
WHO WOULD ENJOY THIS ROLE?
Someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and comfortable following up. Experience in outreach, sales, purchasing, fundraising, or relationship building is helpful, but a willingness to learn and a heart for the mission matter too.
You do not need to fund donations yourself or personally transport every contribution. Your role is to help build relationships and coordinate support with our team.
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity with a flexible schedule. Because donor relationships develop over time, we’re especially interested in someone who can provide consistent follow-through.

Location and time commitment
Garland, Texas, and surrounding communities. Much of the outreach and recordkeeping can be done remotely, with occasional local meetings or coordination as needed.
Flexible schedule, with regular follow-up and increased coordination before our first-Sunday meal events. Availability and responsibilities will be agreed upon together.
