    Description

    Meal Delivery to Seniors in Beacon, NY

    Volunteers with the Meal Delivery Program through Community Action Partnership for Dutchess County, Inc. help provide home delivered meals to elderly and frail individuals in Beacon, NY.

    Must have a valid drivers license; a company vehicle is provided. The vehicle is located at 7 Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, NY. Volunteers drive from the village in Wappingers Falls to the Beacon Friendship Center with a company vehicle and deliver meals, then return the vehicle to 7 Mill Street, Wappingers Falls. A designated free private parking lot is provided for volunteers to park in.

    This volunteer opportunity is flexible. Each meal delivery volunteer signs up for what day(s) they wish to volunteer each month. This opportunity is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, approximately 9:45 am - 12noon each day.
