    Volunteer Film Crew Supervisor / Manager (Producer)

    • Location: Remote and/or On-Set (as applicable)
    • Commitment: 8–12 hours per week (flexible; additional hours during production periods)
    • Duration: Project-based (3–6 months typical)
    • Compensation: Unpaid / Volunteer (credit, portfolio experience, and reference letter provided)

    About the Role

    We are seeking organized, proactive, and leadership-driven Volunteer Crew Supervisors / Managers (Producers) to help oversee production operations and coordinate creative teams. This role is ideal for aspiring producers, production managers, or project leads who want hands-on experience managing film, media, or digital content projects.

    You will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly—from pre-production planning through execution and delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and supervise production crew members
    • Assist in scheduling shoots, meetings, and deadlines
    • Support budgeting and resource allocation tracking
    • Oversee logistics (locations, equipment, permits, talent coordination)
    • Ensure clear communication between creative and technical teams
    • Monitor production timelines and address workflow challenges
    • Help manage risk, problem-solve on set or during production
    • Maintain production documentation and reports

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Background or strong interest in film, media production, communications, or project management
    • Leadership or team coordination experience (academic or professional)
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Ability to manage deadlines under pressure
    • Clear communication and conflict-resolution skills
    • Familiarity with production workflows (pre-production, production, post-production)
    • Basic budgeting or scheduling knowledge is a plus
