    Description

Your story has the power to create change.

As a Victim Survivor Speaker with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), you'll help educate court-ordered offenders by sharing how impaired driving has affected your life. By giving a voice to the real people behind the statistics, you'll help others understand the lasting impact of impaired driving, encourage accountability, and inspire safer choices.

MADD's Victim Impact Panels are educational presentations for court-ordered offenders that combine prevention education with personal stories from those whose lives have been forever changed by impaired driving. Your willingness to share your experience can help participants better understand the consequences of their actions and may help prevent future tragedies.

    What You'll Do

Working alongside MADD staff and fellow volunteers, you will:

    • Share your personal experience in a respectful, educational setting.
    • Help participants understand the emotional, physical, and financial impacts of impaired driving.
    • Participate in Victim Impact Panels as part of a supportive volunteer team.
    • Help create a safe, respectful environment that encourages learning, accountability, and positive change.
