    Description

Coach in a Vegan Leaders program

Vegan Leaders is looking for volunteers to serve as advisros/menrtors/coaches to assigned individual participants in our Workplace Catalyst for Change Program. In this flexible, tiered program, individuals work on defining and executing an idea for a vegan/plant-based initiative led by them in their workplace. Examples include creating a vegan/plant-based employee resource group, launching a workplace challenge or health and wellness program, or organizing a vegan-themed event at the company. A typical participant is a vegan employee in a mid-size to large corporation who signed up for the program due to their desire to make their company more vegan-friendly.

The coach would work with 1 or 2 assigned participants in the program for the duration of 1- 6 months (depending on the project), and help them stay on track with their goals on the timeline, motivate and counsel them on the approach, find helpers and sponsors and help navigate through obstacles.

The coach would follow the general framework and objective of the program but would have freedom in the manner of communicating with the participants, time of touchpoints etc. The coach would be encouraged to recommend and help refine general best practices and training materials with the other coaches and the program lead.

The expected time commitment is 2 hours per week for the duration of 6 months, to include meetings with the assigned participants and sharing of insights and outcomes with the program team.
