The 8 Project: Manhattan Exhibit
Details
Description
The 8 Project is seeking volunteers to help staff our nonprofit gallery and exhibition space in Chelsea this summer.
We are a volunteer-powered organization dedicated to supporting IDF soldiers coping with PTSD and survivors impacted by war and trauma through creative rehabilitation programs, exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement.
We’re looking for reliable, friendly volunteers (college students, young professionals, retirees, and community members welcome) who can commit to one shift per week during our open gallery hours, Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Volunteers will welcome visitors, share the story behind the exhibition, assist with gallery operations, and help create a meaningful experience for guests.
As a nonprofit, all proceeds from artwork, merchandise, and exhibit-related sales directly support our rehabilitation and resilience-building programs for the individuals we serve.
If you or someone you know is passionate about art, community, Israel, nonprofit work, mental health advocacy, or making a difference, we’d love to connect.
Please reach out for more information.
