    Profile Writers for Cats

    Chicago Cat Rescue needs individuals with excellent writing skills who know cats! We are seeking cat savvy volunteers to create profiles for our adoptable cats and kittens. In order to create these clever and appealing descriptions of our cats, our Profile Writers will reach out to CCR's foster parents, who will share details about our cats' behaviors, habits and overall personalities. These profiles, along with great pictures, encourage potential adopters to contact our organization about adopting our cats and giving them forever homes. You can have fun with your writing skills, while at the same time, help homeless kitties! The entire process involves posting our cats' profiles and pictures on our website.

    This volunteer position can be a fun one for people who understand cats, love cats, and love writing about them! While our foster parents will share details about their foster cats' personalities and traits, we depend on our profile writers to write creative, appealing and accurate descriptions of our cats, which will attract the attention of potential adopters. Excellent writing skills and proper grammar are important, as our profiles also reflect the professionalism of our organization. After profiles are written, our profile writers will post our cats on our website, to share with the public. Volunteers with initiative are especially valuable. Profiles may require changes or updating, as we learn more about our cats. If you desire to help homeless animals, this may be the position for you!
