Volunteer with Veterans in Hospice

Are you a Veteran? Are you interested in helping other veterans? Elara Caring, a leading care provider in your area, is looking for compassionate Veteran Volunteers willing to donate their time and provide service support to local Veteran Hospice patients and their families. We are partners with the We Honor Veterans organizations and strive to provide excellent care to our Veteran patients. We also honor veterans for their unselfish time and service with periodic pinning ceremonies. As a volunteer, you may provide companionship, play cards, read to the patient, write letters for patients or reminisce about their time served for the country. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible, weekdays, evenings, or weekends. Typically, visits are 1-1.5 hrs. per visit. Reach out today for more information! Thank you!
