    About Robin’s Nest Rescue

Robin’s Nest Rescue is a nonprofit animal sanctuary and therapeutic ranch in Ramona, California. We rescue animals from kill pens, refuges, and hoarding situations and give them a safe, loving place to heal.

But rescue is only part of the story.

Through meaningful interactions between people and animals, we create opportunities for connection, healing, and transformation. Our motto says it best:

“We rescue them. They save us.”

As we grow, we are also launching therapeutic programming that brings people and rescued animals together for healing experiences. Volunteers will play a critical role in making these programs possible — and we’re looking for someone who can help build and support this volunteer community.

    The Role

The Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator helps connect compassionate people with meaningful ways to support the animals and mission of Robin’s Nest Rescue.

This role is primarily remote and flexible, though ideally the person is based in San Diego County and able to occasionally attend events or gatherings at the ranch in Ramona.
