We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure the funding necessary to expand our programs. This role is vital to our sustainability, as it allows us to offer scholarships for our healing retreats and maintain our global network of resources.
As a Volunteer Grant Writer, you will work closely with our leadership team to identify funding opportunities, draft compelling proposals, and tell the stories of impact that define our mission.
- Research: Identify potential grant opportunities from family foundations, corporate giving programs, and government entities that align with our mission (mental health, trauma recovery, sexual assault prevention, etc.).
- Proposal Writing: Draft, edit, and submit high-quality grant applications, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and proposals.
- Narrative Development: Translate MaleSurvivor’s program goals and success stories into persuasive narratives for donors.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of progress reports for existing funders.
