Social Media Assistant - Volunteer Opportunity URGENT

Starr Prepp is a community organization providing free resources and support to students K-12 and families in Los Angeles. We're looking for a volunteer (NOT A PAID POSITION-nor a promise of future employment) Social Media Assistant to help us grow our reach and better serve the families who need us. This is a real role with real responsibility. We're a small, fast-moving organization that is looking to build our team. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED WITHIN LOS ANGELES, CA.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, high-quality content including tips, infographics, announcements, and videos Proficiency in media editing tools including Canva. Adobe photoshop, and video editing software
• Respond to general comments and messages, and interact with the community
• Track engagement and follower growth to hit our growth targets
• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing goals, brand identity, and target audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Time Commitment - 10 hours per week.

This role is UNPAID and volunteer-based. In exchange, we offer:
