    Director of Community Exchange Partnerships

    Remote | Volunteer

    20–25 Hours Per Week

    About LoopRoots Foundation

LoopRoots Foundation is a rapidly growing nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through innovative programs supporting justice-impacted individuals, survivors, youth, families, transportation, workforce development, housing, and community resources.

We are launching an exciting new national initiative called the Community Exchange Partnership Program (CEPP), designed to build meaningful partnerships between businesses, nonprofits, property owners, and community organizations by helping connect operational needs with procurement solutions and collaborative opportunities.

    Position Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and relationship-driven professional to become the founding Volunteer Director of Community Exchange Partnerships.

This is not a traditional fundraising position.

Instead, you will help develop one of LoopRoots Foundation's newest strategic initiatives by identifying partnership opportunities, building relationships with commercial property owners and businesses, and helping establish long-term collaborations that strengthen both our organization and the communities we serve.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Develop relationships with businesses, commercial property owners, and community organizations.
    • Introduce the Community Exchange Partnership Program.
    • Identify organizations that may benefit from procurement and partnership opportunities.
    • Secure meetings with decision-makers.
    • Coordinate partnership discussions with Foundation leadership.
    • Help identify warehouse, retail, office, and industrial space opportunities.
    • Develop long-term corporate partnerships.
    • Track opportunities in Zoho CRM.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team.
    • Represent LoopRoots Foundation professionally within the community.

    Ideal Candidate

    • Business development experience
    • Corporate partnerships
    • Commercial real estate relationships
    • Sales or account management
    • Community engagement
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Self-motivated
    • Entrepreneurial mindset
    • Passion for nonprofit work

    What Makes This Opportunity Different

This role provides the opportunity to help build a new national initiative from the ground up.

The selected volunteer will work directly with Foundation leadership to shape the future of the Community Exchange Partnership Program.

As the program grows and funding becomes available, outstanding performance and measurable results will be considered for transition into a paid leadership position.

Successful establishment of key strategic partnerships—including significant resource or facility partnerships—will be an important factor in that consideration.

    Why Join LoopRoots?

    • Build a national program from the beginning.
    • Work directly with executive leadership.
    • Gain executive-level nonprofit experience.
    • Expand your professional network.
    • Make a measurable community impact.
    • Opportunity for future paid leadership as the program develops.
