    Moderator

    Reports to: Top Leadership

    DESCRIPTION

    Do you want to change the way America does politics?

    Do you like being in the heart of the conversation? Delve into the weekly topic discussions and help us bring our proven method for talking across the political divide to all 50 states. Place yourself in the middle of the action and guide the discussion

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilitate one or more Topic Discussions per month
    • Attend Monthly Maderator Meetings

    SKILLS

    • Comfort running meetings
    • A commitment to talking across differences

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    • Moderators are required to participate in Crossing Party Lines’ four-week online training, which is a hybrid of self-paced and in-person learning experiences.
    • Moderators must complete at least one practicum to prove their readiness to moderate solo.
    • Skills taught in the Moderator Training are transferable to most other careers and consider by most to be an important addition to anly resume.

    Commitment

    • 6+ hours per month
    • After completing training, moderators must commit to facilitating a minimum of three meetings.
