About REVEL in Life
REVEL in Life is a Denver-based nonprofit supporting adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities through three core programs: Gear Up, Employment, and Supports/Lounge. Our office team keeps daily operations running smoothly so our program staff can focus on delivering great experiences to the people we serve.
Position Summary
The Office Coordination Volunteer supports REVEL's front office and administrative operations, helping create a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for staff, participants, families, and visitors. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, personable, and comfortable juggling a variety of day-to-day tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, participants, and families arriving at the office
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and general email inquiries
- Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining organized digital and paper records
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, trainings, and events
- Support mail processing, including sorting incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail/packages
- Help maintain office supply inventory and alert staff when items need to be restocked
- Assist with light administrative projects (e.g., mailings, copying, document formatting)
- Support scheduling and calendar coordination as needed
- Help keep common areas and the front office tidy and presentable
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Office Manager
Qualifications
- Friendly, patient, and respectful demeanor, especially when interacting with individuals with IDD
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with basic computer tasks (email, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace)
- Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
- Prior office, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Must complete REVEL's volunteer onboarding, including a background check
