Description
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to support our RESPECT Project by helping maintain our community pantry. This role is essential to ensuring the pantry remains well-stocked, clean, and organized for the individuals and families we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and restock pantry shelves to ensure items are accessible and properly labeled
- Check inventory levels and help maintain a neat, welcoming space
- Clean and organize the pantry area as needed
- Occasionally pick up food and supplies from partner organizations
- Assist with shopping for pantry items to help restock when necessary
Time Commitment:
- Twice monthly (flexible scheduling coordinated with staff)
Ideal Volunteers:
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable lifting light to moderate items
- Willing to travel locally for occasional pick-ups
