Description
Warehouse Assistant:
Accompanies warehouse staff on daily delivery routes, safely load and unload product, and help skeep the HDC floor organized and efficient so every pantry order is accurate and on time.
Duties
- Accompany a Catholic Charities of NE Kansas Volunteer driver on scheduled routes; lift and carry individual boxes (up to45 lbs) from pallets into receiving pantries.
- Occasionally transport produce using an agency vehicle.
- Build pallets for each pantry's weekly order by pulling requested items from inventory.
- Offload mixed pallets of sorted food into correct warehouse zones (dry, refrigerated, freezer).
- Assist warehouse management with light cleaning and general organization as needed.
