Description
Determine your own time commitment. Non-medical volunteers may provide some of the following services:
- Office/Administrative tasks
- Friendly social visits
- Writing letters
- Reading to patients
- Pet therapy (must have certified pet)
- Companionship
- Sitting vigil at bedside
- Patient caregiver relief
- Emotional and spiritual support
- Assist with bereavement support
- Massage therapy
- Music therapy
- Light housekeeping in patient homes
