    Description

Outdoor Education Field Trip Volunteers Needed

Do you love the outdoors? Do you have a passion for sparking a love of nature in others? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking field trip volunteers to help support Earth Discovery Institute staff during school field trips. As our Field Instructors lead the lessons to 4th graders from East County schools, volunteers assist them while the students hike, explore, investigate, and learn about habitats, watersheds, adaptations, and restoration. Field trips will either take place at Crestridge Ecological Reserve in El Cajon, or at the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Chula Vista. Field trips occur Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9:00-12:30. We provide training. Please join us and help youth fall in love with nature!
