Description
Position Purpose:
Help Spanish-speaking community members access information, services, and resources by providing language assistance and translation support.
Primary Duties:
- Provide Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish interpretation as needed
- Assist staff and guests with basic verbal communication
- Translate flyers, forms, notices, and other basic materials
- Help Spanish-speaking individuals understand available programs and services
- Assist with completing basic forms or applications when appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of all individuals
- Perform other language-support duties as needed
Qualifications:
Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills. Patient, dependable, respectful, and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
