    We ask that volunteers arrive promptly to the museum at 4:45pm to help our team unload and set up. The event will run until 12:00am and will volunteers be asked to stay the duration of the event.

    Volunteers should be comfortable approaching and interacting with Gala attendees. The event is fun and fast paced, and it is critical volunteers are able to multitask and work independently and as part of a team. Please dress in cocktail attire.

    Orant Charities 2026 Mudzi Gala

    I am excited to invite you to volunteer for Orant Charities' Mudzi Gala on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Support our team as guests enjoy private access to the Perot Museum after dark. The evening will include music, raffle, live auctions, and heads or tails game. All proceeds will expand access to healthcare, water and sanitation, education, business development, agriculture, and energy and environment for those who need it most in Malawi.

    Volunteers are critical to event success. We ask that volunteers be 21+ years an older and are eager and excited to learn more about our organization. Volunteers will be asked to assist with set-up, manage the registration process, fundraising pulls, answer basic questions, help with guest movement throughout the gala, and support staff where needed most. All training will be provided. Dinner included with gala.
